This Grüner Veltliner has minimal sulphur and is unfined and unfiltered. The fruit was hand picked, pressed in a basket press then the juice was fermented by wild yeast in old oak barrels until bone dry. The resulting wine has a misty hue and aromas of stewed rhubarb and ripe pineapple. The palate crisp and crunchy and full of texture with flavours of rhubarb pie and a hint of tropical fruit.
